Careers

Inteneural Networks Inc. is a start-up founded by recognized scientists and veterans in high-tech business investments, supported by a well-financed US fund, and designed to revolutionize brain diagnostics. We are developing a cutting-edge, AI-based medical application, that will revolutionize brain diagnostics.

Our goal is not only to achieve technological breakthroughs but also to “change the world into a little better place” by making high-end diagnostic procedures not only inexpensive but also widely accessible remotely to the majority of the world population - people who currently have no access to advanced medical procedures.

Currently, we are looking for:

Machine learning engineers / researchers

Who we are?

A Chicago-based, Artificial Intelligence, medical application company (Inteneural Networks – www.CompareMRI.com), a start-up founded by two recognized scientists and veterans in high-tech business investments, supported by a well-financed US fund, and designed to revolutionize brain diagnostics. Our goal is not only to achieve technological breakthroughs but also to change the world into a little better place by making high-end diagnostic procedures not only inexpensive but also widely accessible remotely to the majority of the world population.

What will you do?

Participate in the development of a cutting-edge, AI-based medical application, that will revolutionize brain diagnostics. This application will eventually substitute entirely the current expensive and time-consuming work of neuro-radiologists with smart, AI-based analysis of simple MRI-scans – which are quick to take, inexpensive, and widely available.

This will eventually make advanced brain diagnostics almost instant, more reliable, and readily available with no wait time to practically everybody - who now even in the advanced world have to wait for weeks for their diagnosis. This advanced technology will be available remotely to the majority of the world population who currently have no access to advanced medical procedures.

Specifically, your role will be to:

  • conduct research and development on machine learning algorithms for medical applications;
  • model development, training, and performance validation;
  • dataset management/analysis/annotation.

What is required?

  • grasp of theoretical concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Neural Networks (NN);
  • practical use of Deep Learning libraries (Pytorch or TensorFlow);
  • some practical knowledge on image processing;
  • advanced computer programming (Python);
  • advanced communication skills in English (spoken and written) (B2/C1 equivalent or above);
  • creativity and analytical skills;
  • good sense of humor.

What isn’t required, but would be nice to have?

  • education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical, and Computer Engineering, or any other related field;
  • knowledge on domain-specific medical imaging processing and formats;
  • scientific Python stack (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, ...);
  • version control software (Git or equivalent);
  • hands-on experience with AWS services;
  • you’re currently residing in (or willing to relocate to) Poznań, Poland.

Benefits:

  • actual influence on the product – you won’t be just a cog in the machine;
  • opportunity for personal growth;
  • collaboration with a dynamic and international multidisciplinary team;
  • flexible working hours.
